MS File Explorer PlugIn for decrypting and verifying files (file extensions CRP, SGN and SME), which were encrypted and / or signed with the abylon protection manager (apm) or WinCrypt. The program have an integrated certificate manager for X.509 certificate administration (PKCS / RSA) and support also the automatic storing of public keys during the verifying (to check the signature) and the generating of self-signed certificates.
The addin for Outlook (not Outlook Express) enable the packing and unpacking of so-called SME files (Secure Message Envelope) direct with two buttons 'Signing and Encrypting (SME for...)' and 'Decrypting an Verifying (unpack SME)' in the outlook window. The SME-format protect your data against illegal access and you can send the email without any worries. Only the owner of the correct Private Key can open and read the email.
With apm - logon you can simply and flexible save your computer (only Windows NT, 2000, XP). Register yourself with any certificate smartcard, an USB-Token (e. g. Aladdin eToken), an ec-card or health insurance cards. After insert card into the smartcard reader, the Logon takes place completely automatically. With certificate-based tokens you must enter only your appropriate certificate password. If you remove the card your computer e. g. Locked.
Security and encoding solution with helpful modules for encryption and signing of files, folders, emails (incl. attachments) and passwords based on X.509 certificates (PKCS / RSA). Diverse token support (smartcards and USB tokens), distinction of the signature and coding certificate, destroy files (wipe according to the DoD-II method), Drag&Drop, compression in ZIP-format and the generating of self-signed certificates are supported.
